President Jean Nicks said she will provide a Certificate of Insurance to Rural Mutual for the Boaz Fun Daze group after the new playground equipment is installed in the park.
Gaylord Hooker, representing the Boaz Area Lions Club, presented a rough blueprint for the club's planned addition to its Legacy Building. Trustee Kathy Hansen moved to approve the Lion's Club addition; Trustee Judy Adrian seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous consent.
The Board did not record any conditions tied to the approval in the minutes. Following the meeting, President Nicks will coordinate with Rural Mutual on the timing of the certificate for the community event and with the Lions Club about any permit or inspection needs.
