Blue Mounds board clears park use for Dream Makers Market, approves security upgrade and routine business

The Village of Blue Mounds Board of Trustees on April 8 handled several community and administrative items, approving shelter use by the Dream Makers Market, authorizing a security-system upgrade for Village Hall and completing routine approvals of minutes and bills.

Representatives of Dream Makers Market told the board they plan about 40 vendors, food trucks and music at the Mounds View Park shelter and said they had coordinated with Police Chief Hoops on parking. A staff member, Dan, confirmed they may park on the road to the well; the minutes state the organizers will pay the regular deposit and rental for the shelter.
