At the July 1 meeting of the Adelanto Planning Commission Parks and Recreation, staff member Naika announced a community-wide yard sale set for July 17–19 and said no permits will be required for residents who wish to participate.
Naika said, "It's gonna be July 17 to the 19th. No permits are required for a yard sale doing this weekend." She also told the commission that city hall will be closed on July 2 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Chair Wagner asked where the yard sale would be held; Naika clarified the event is citywide and open to any residents who wish to participate. No further parks and recreation items were discussed.
The announcement is informational; no approvals or permits will be issued for the citywide yard sale, per staff remarks at the meeting.
