Staff said the agreement also contemplates the Alliance delivering local programs in exchange for the parking accommodation, and that a contract will follow once the grant is accepted.
Trustees noted modest electricity needs for charging and discussed potential future cooperation if the Alliance seeks additional local opportunities to use the lab. Staff said the MOU is a necessary step required by the grantor and that the agreement would be placed on the regular meeting agenda for approval.
