White Lake board reappoints clerk, names attorney and zoning committee members

At its May 5 meeting the Village of White Lake board unanimously approved a two-year appointment for village attorney Mike Winters, reappointed Clerk-Treasurer Carol Blawat and named Trustees Patsy Listle and Frank Skarlupka to the zoning committee for two-year terms.
Village President Tom Edelman called the Village of White Lake board to order at 6:00 p.m. on May 5, and trustees voted unanimously to approve a set of administrative appointments and routine procedural items.
Trustee Frank Skarlupka moved, and Trustee Patsy Listle seconded, approval of Mike Winters as village attorney for a two-year term beginning May 1, 2025 and ending April 30, 2027; the motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. The board also appointed Trustees Listle and Skarlupka to the zoning committee for the same two-year term.
On a separate motion by Listle, seconded by Edelman, the board reappointed Carol Blawat as clerk-treasurer for a one-year term running May 15, 2025 through May 14, 2026; that motion also passed unanimously. Earlier in the meeting trustees approved the agenda, the April 8 meeting minutes and the bills/financials, each on unanimous votes.
No public objections or substantive debate were recorded for the appointments. The board moved on to other agenda items after completing the personnel and procedural approvals.
