The Weyauwega Common Council recorded the following formal actions on Feb. 16, 2026:
- Approved the Jan. 19, 2026 regular meeting minutes (motion by Gunderson, second Appleby). Motion carried with five ayes, zero nays.
- Approved creating a new Event Coordinator/Seasonal Pool Director job title and posting lifeguard positions at $15.00/hour and a concession position at $12.00/hour (motions by Gunderson; second Butzin). Motions carried with all ayes.
- Approved Change Order #1 for the Lead Service Replacement Program (motion by Baehnman, second Gunderson). Motion carried with five ayes, zero nays.
- Approved Certificate for Payment #1 of $109,131.25 to Scott Lamers Construction for the Lead Service Replacement Program (motion by Baehnman, second Gunderson). Motion carried with five ayes, zero nays.
- Voted to renew the BP/Amaco fleet gas card now and to review Citgo’s offer for future benefits (motion by Appleby, second Berg). Motion carried with five ayes, zero nays.
- Adopted Ordinance 2026-1 correcting alderperson salaries (motion by Appleby, second Berg). Motion carried with five ayes, zero nays.
- Approved checks dated 01/01/2026–01/31/2026 totaling $389,446.70 and accepted monthly financial reports (roll call ayes from Berg, Appleby, Baehnman, Gunderson and Butzin).
- Approved operator licenses for Nicholas Schneiderwendt (T’s Corner Bar) and David Janssen (Picklebellies) (motion by Gunderson, second Appleby). Motion carried with five ayes, zero nays.
- Adjourned at 7:37 p.m. (motion by Appleby, second Gunderson).
