At its April 13 meeting the Wilton Village Board approved several administrative actions including a contract-termination payment, staff trainings, operator licenses and the creation of a village Facebook page.
The board approved payment of $2,902 to Catalis Web (year two of a four-year invoice) in exchange for terminating a four-year contract; Thompson moved and Coldren seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. The minutes record the amount and the stated exchange but do not include the original contract terms or the rationale for early termination beyond the payment amount.
The board also approved multiple clerk trainings: WMCA Northern Conference (Eau Claire, April 15–16), WMCA District 4 Meeting (Verona, April 30), WI League of Municipalities Spring Exchange (Wisconsin Dells, May 7–8), and UW–Green Bay Clerk’s Institute (virtual, July 13–17). Coldren moved to approve the listed trainings and the motion carried.
Licenses approved included operator's licenses for Lily Vera Witt and Jennifer Hammon. The board also authorized Wilton American Legion Post 508 a temporary amendment to its Class B liquor license to serve alcohol April 25, 2026 at the Wilton Community Center for the Lenora Martin benefit.
Finally, the board authorized the clerk to create a village Facebook page to inform residents; Bever made the motion, which carried. Staff did not provide further details about page management or content policies in the minutes.
