Weyauwega council approves East Street repair, spraying contract and tree grate fixes

Discussion about tree grate repairs initially deferred to clarify funding sources; Mayor Rich Luedke said funds would come from the sidewalk budget and capital funds and council then approved the $5,192 repair work.
Council member Austin Baehnman sponsored several of the public-works motions; votes on the listed motions carried with five ayes and zero nays. The tree grate repairs and spraying are routine municipal maintenance; the East Street contract is a road-repair capital project scheduled to proceed under Public Works oversight.
