Terry Wilson, the town's code enforcement officer, told the board the condition at the property has continued to deteriorate over eight months and that recent pictures show "a lot of stuff" — multiple vehicles, boats, a jet ski and other debris. Wilson said the town has sent prior notices and correspondence and has three complaints documented in his file.
Wilson asked for the board’s approval to allow the town attorney to pursue enforcement; a board member moved to grant that permission and the motion was seconded and approved. Wilson said he would verify the deed holder before taking additional legal steps; earlier certified correspondence named Diane and Michael Moore in the file.
Board members pressed for documentation to support neighbors' complaints and for Wilson to update the board as legal steps proceed. The action authorizes staff to begin the formal enforcement process but does not itself specify penalties or remediation details, which will follow town enforcement procedures and any attorney review.
