The motion covered a range of items presented by the superintendent and recommended for board approval.
Among the financial approvals, the board authorized processing invoices and payment of claims between meetings and approved the September 2025 bills list totaling $3,805,375.38. The board also approved a contract with Beyond the Spectrum Therapeutic Center to provide therapy services and evaluation assessments for special-education students for the 2025–26 year and separately approved shared BCBA and ABA therapy services for two students (student #4497 and student #6927) at specified hourly rates: 40 hours of BCBA at $150 per hour ($6,000) and 67 hours of ABA at $95 per hour ($6,365), totaling $12,365 for the shared-services engagements.
The board approved curriculum- and program-related items on the consent agenda, including field trips and course revisions such as a Grade 6 Foundations of Civics cycle and Grade 4–5 World Language exploration to be implemented in 2025–26.
By bundling the items as a consent agenda, the board voted on multiple administrative, instructional and financial matters in a single motion. The board announced the items were recommended by the superintendent and incorporated into the district’s regular business operations.
