At its Nov. 11 meeting the Franklin Lakes Board of Education heard a presentation of the 2024–25 audit from Kathy Mantell and Brian Ko of Nisivoccia & Associates and approved Resolution 2013 authorizing the Superintendent to accept the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
The audit presentation was recorded on the public work session portion of the agenda; the board’s resolution authorized formal acceptance of the report as prepared by Nisivoccia & Company. The minutes do not include extended audit discussion or accompanying quotes from the auditors in the public minutes.
Meeting minutes also list unofficial board election results: Mrs. Lisa Cardella 2,392 votes; Mrs. Elisa Billis 2,277 votes; Mr. Robert Spiotti 2,271 votes. Committee and liaison reports followed the presentation: Mr. Ari Donio reported on Curriculum & Instruction; Ms. Cardella reported on Special Services; Mr. SeWhan Kim reported on Finance, Facilities & Operations.
The board approved the audit acceptance as part of the consent agenda actions recorded in the minutes.
