The Frankford Township Consolidated School District reported that a school bus collided with a WB Mason truck on Morris Turnpike but that all students and the driver were uninjured.
"Luckily, I was able to rush out, you know, to the scene," the Presenter said, adding that "we have 10 kids left on the bus at that time" and that first responders, including police and fire personnel, helped to control the scene and ensure everyone's safety. The Presenter thanked first responders and said students were able to make it home safely.
The Director said a police report was delivered to insurance and that a temporary door was sourced from Kraft; the bus was described as drivable and placed back in service while insurance coordinates repairs. The Director said repair costs would be covered through the district's insurance claim.
Board members had no further public concern recorded in the provided segments. The district did not provide additional technical details about the collision during the meeting.
