Parents and community members press board on Zoom access, busing, meal service and holiday recognition

Members of the special education parents advisory group (CPAC) promoted an Aug. 29 meet-and-greet for families of students with IEPs; Keith Gosselin, CPAC president, encouraged attendance and congratulated Dr. Kravitz on the contract offer.
Fatin Hassan thanked the board for including Eid al-Fitr on the 2024-25 school calendar and asked whether the district is considering officially recognizing the holiday as a day off; the board said calendar development in January/February will consider such requests.
