The board voted to adopt the meeting definitions as presented and to move workshops toward a committee-of-the-whole model with agenda items designated for finance, curriculum, policy and facilities; it agreed to delay reestablishing formal standing committees until members receive training and the board can ensure transparent posting and minutes. The motion carried.
Administration said it will provide training on statutory responsibilities and suggested committee structure options before the board makes any further structural changes.
