City Counselor Nathan Nickolas read Ordinance 4876 (amending Chapter 35 of the Rolla City Code relating to sewers and water) for its final reading at the Sept. 17 council meeting. Councilman Steve Jackson moved to approve the ordinance and Councilman William Hahn seconded the motion. A roll call vote recorded ayes from Councilmen Andrew Behrendt, Steve Jackson, Micheal Dickens, David Shelby, Kevin Greven, William Hahn, August Rolufs, Aaron Pace, Tina Balch and Tom McNeven; there were no nays and the ordinance passed.
The ordinance was recorded as ORDINANCE 4876 and will amend the city’s sewer and water code related to service availability fees for 2025–2026. The meeting minutes do not include the specific new fee amounts; the council approved the ordinance as presented.
