The chair said Todd Goffoy is working on revised financing calculations for the cooperative agreement and that Chuck and staff will meet with him to finalize numbers before bringing the matter to the city and the board. "Todd Goffoy is working on redoing some calculations for us," the chair said, noting staff would schedule follow-up meetings if necessary.
Members discussed easements, utility adjustments and next steps for legal review and recording. One participant described the TAP project scope: survey work is under way and the plan is to install a HAWK system at a crosswalk rather than an embellished treatment. "We won't get as fancy on crosswalks, but we at least get the HAWK system," the participant said.
The group noted possible timing constraints tied to October board deadlines and a board member's limited availability in early October; staff said they were working in good faith but cautioned that final approvals could take time. The board did not take formal action on the cooperative agreement during the meeting and said staff will return with completed calculations and contract language for legal review.
Next steps include completing Todd's financing numbers, submitting documents for legal review and, if necessary, scheduling a special meeting to keep the cooperative agreement on track.
