Green Township Land Use Board elects Holzhauer chair, Wilson vice chair; approves reorganization appointments

Scott Holzhauer was elected chair of the Green Township Land Use Board and Rick Wilson was elected vice chair during the board’s Jan. 9 reorganization meeting.
Both positions were approved by roll-call votes with all members present voting yes. Holzhauer and Wilson subsequently read their oaths of office.
The board approved several reorganization appointments by roll call: David Brady as board attorney; Cory Stoner as board engineer; Jessica Caldwell as board planner (Mrs. Sharon Mullen recorded an abstention on the planner appointment); Paul Gleitz as conflict board planner; and Kimberlee Mantz as board secretary. The motions to set the regular meeting schedule from February 2025 through February 2026, to designate the NJ Herald as the official newspaper, and to establish an application-deadline schedule also passed by roll call vote.
The board moved to accept the Dec. 12, 2024 minutes with minor corrections and approved the Annual Zoning Report as written. The Obolensky Application LU#2423 was not finalized at the meeting; the board said corrections are required and memorialization of that resolution was scheduled for the February meeting.
Procedural items also included a notice of adjournment read regarding SAKS Properties Application LU#2309 and the announcement of standing committee rosters. The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Land Use Attorney David Brady and adjourned at 8:52 p.m.
What happens next: The board will carry LU#2423 for memorialization at the February meeting pending corrections to its resolution. The reorganization appointments and administrative schedules take effect immediately.
