Branson planning commission continues two development hearings to Jan. 6, 2026

The Branson Planning Commission on Dec. 2 voted unanimously to continue two development items to Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, both with public hearings and subsequent hearings before the Board of Aldermen.
Chairperson Grohman opened public hearings on a final plat for a development transcribed in the meeting as “Limestone 2” (the transcript also records the name as “Longstone 2”) and a preliminary plan for the Sanders development along Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. In each case the applicant requested a continuance; commissioners approved the requests by roll call, recorded as 10 votes in favor and 0 against.
Staff noted the continuances will allow the applicants to appear before the Board of Aldermen for first readings and public hearings on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at 6 p.m., in City Hall Council Chambers. The commission did not take substantive public testimony on either item at the Dec. 2 meeting.
The votes were procedural continuances; no conditions, amendments, or final approvals were adopted by the commission at this meeting. The commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at 6 p.m., when both items are expected to be back on the agenda if applicants remain scheduled.
