Town of Pound approves March financials, vouchers and building permits; two supervisors sworn in

The Town of Pound board approved routine administrative items and noted election outcomes at its April 14 meeting.
Treasurer Janelle Rymer presented the March 2026 financial report showing a Money Market account at Peshtigo National Bank with $473,564.71 and a checking account with $1,999.97, for a total of $475,564.68. Receipts #8802 through #8813 totaled $2,963.68. Supervisor Jeff Patenaude moved to approve the financial report; the motion carried 5–0.
Clerk Jessica Olson presented April vouchers, checks #17430 through #17486 and electronic transfers totaling $34,021.84; Supervisor Mike Zeitler moved and Supervisor Jeff Nowak seconded approval and the motion carried 5–0.
Zoning Administrator Tom Rich presented building permit #4 for Larry Wilson and #5 for Barton Kostreva; Supervisor Dave Pellman moved and Supervisor Jeff Patenaude seconded approval and the motion carried 5–0.
Clerk Olson and Deputy Clerk Dorothy Kaminski reported on the April 7 Spring Election. Supervisors Dave Pellman and Mike Zeitler were re-elected and were sworn into their new two-year terms during the meeting.
The meeting opened at 6:06 PM and adjourned at 7:02 PM; all motions listed in the minutes were recorded as carried 5–0.
