At the Jan. 21 Green Township Board meeting, outside vendor Tremco and district staff gave presentations on facilities, student-safety reporting and assessments.
Kyle Sweppenhiser of Tremco Construction Products Group reviewed roof conditions and roof drains and said Tremco will submit a prioritized proposal with cost estimates for maintenance and repairs. District staff thanked building operations lead Mike Housel for winter work keeping the building open and warm.
District compliance and student-support staff (Mr. Bollette) reviewed the SSDS report for July–December 2025, covering incidents, restraints, seclusions and trainings. In the same presentation Mr. Bollette reported three HIB investigations in that period — two unfounded and one found — and reiterated that every HIB is investigated. He also said one student completed the DLM assessment during the 2025 testing window but the district could not report the results due to student confidentiality rules.
Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Cenatiempo reported zero newly founded HIB incidents since the previous BOE meeting, recounted a January 8 fire drill and a Dec. 18 security drill, and outlined professional learning sessions from the Jan. 19 staff development day including "Stop the Bleed" training and NJDOE LEARning about Literacy PLC modules.
