Chairman Curt Tisler told the Town of Pound board on Jan. 13 that he and an associate reached an agreement with Town of Grover Chairman Brad Wyss to divide maintenance tasks on Townline Road.
Under the arrangement, the Town of Pound will perform snow plowing on both sides of Townline Road from Highway 64 to County Trunk Highway M. In exchange, the Town of Grover will perform ditch cutting on both sides of the road from Highway 64 to the Town of Little River line. The minutes record the statement of the agreement but do not list a separate motion or dollar amounts tied to the swap.
Board members discussed the operational details and locations; the swap is intended to clarify responsibility for seasonal maintenance and avoid duplication of effort across the municipal boundary. The minutes do not specify a start date, cost allocation, or any required follow-up action by staff.
The board adjourned at 6:41 p.m. after completing the listed agenda items.
