Green Township Board designates TD Bank for district accounts, approves annual meeting schedule

The Green Township Board of Education approved its 2026 meeting calendar and voted to designate TD Bank as the primary depository for most district accounts while assigning Provident Bank for student activity and cafeteria accounts.

On motion, the board adopted meeting dates (regular meetings generally on the third Wednesday, with specified exceptions including budget hearings) and approved governance procedures to follow Robert’s Rules of Order where consistent with state law. The resolution names TD Bank as the depository for operating, payroll, petty cash, unemployment, escrow, bond/construction and other district accounts; the Business Administrator/Board Secretary was authorized to endorse warrants and manage account transfers as necessary.

Provident Bank was designated for the student activity and cafeteria accounts. The board also authorized the Business Administrator/Board Secretary to make principal and interest payments on school bonds and granted authority to invest district funds in compliance with applicable statutes and rules.
