The Green Township Board of Education on June 11 approved motions to adopt the Comprehensive Equity Plan for the 2025–2028 school years, authorized the Affirmative Action Team to complete a needs assessment and directed submission of the plan to the Executive County Superintendent.
The board appointed the following staff to the Affirmative Action Team for 2025–2026 as listed in the agenda: Jon Paul Bollette, Cori Harrington, Mike Housel and Kerstin Martinka. At the same meeting the board also appointed Jon Paul Bollette as Affirmative Action Officer, Attendance Officer and School Safety Specialist for Green Hills School for 2025–2026, each with no additional stipend, according to the agenda.
Separately, the board approved creation of a Send-Receive Tuition Committee to research and recommend a tuition calculation method for Newton High School beyond the certified tuition rate. The committee membership listed on the agenda includes the Green BOE president and vice president, finance and policy chairs, superintendent, business administrator and special counsel; the committee is scheduled to commence July 1 and continue until its objectives are met.
The board additionally approved a set of reappointment and business-designation motions including the appointment of Linda DiLorenzo as Treasurer of School Funds and Karen Constantino as Board Secretary for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, along with banking, signatory and professional service designations recorded on the agenda.
