Conservation committee approves May minutes, sets August deadline for ordinance work

The Silver Spring Township Conservation & Preservation Committee met on June 2, 2025, at the township building and approved the minutes from its May 5 meeting. Linda Melham and Joe Leardi reviewed and approved the May minutes, and Dennis Hrzic, the committee secretary, was directed to forward the approved minutes to township staff for publishing.
The committee set a procedural deadline that the substantive basis for a draft ordinance be completed by the August meeting so members can review it and determine whether to send it for township staff review. No ordinance text was presented at the June meeting.
The committee confirmed its next regular meeting for Aug. 5 at 5:30 p.m. A motion to adjourn at 6:15 p.m. was made by Dennis Hrzic and seconded by Joe Leardi.
