At its April 30 meeting, the Green Township Board of Education approved guidelines for the district’s Integrated Preschool Program for the 2025–26 school year.
The program will run full day from 8:20 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and use The Creative Curriculum. There will be eight general-education slots held by lottery if applicants exceed available openings; general-education students must be potty-trained. The program will be instructed by a P-3, TOSD-certified teacher. Families may purchase school lunch or send lunch from home; there will be no transportation offered to general-education preschool students. The program follows the district K–8 calendar, and the total program cost is $7,000 for the year (payable $700 upfront at registration and subsequent installment of $700 by Aug. 31); the district stated the $7,000 fee is based on the 180-day school year and is not adjusted by monthly calendars.
Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Cenatiempo provided registration numbers in the meeting: 13 resident preschool applicants and one nonresident; seven open spots remain for the lottery, which was scheduled for May 2 with parent notifications to follow.
