Chair asks supervisors to review township sign rules amid rising concerns

Franklin, joined by Board Member Darrell McMillan, said signage has become an increasing issue for the township and suggested staff contact surrounding municipalities to learn how they address sign size, the number of signs and sign placement. The board did not take formal action on the suggestion during the Zoning Hearing Board meeting; the item was presented as a request for the Board of Supervisors and township staff to consider.
If the Board of Supervisors pursues revisions, any changes to the zoning ordinance would follow the township's public‑notice and adoption procedures.
