Moultonborough Planning Board approves minutes and appoints Randy Hilman as alternate

At the May 27 meeting the Moultonborough Planning Board approved the May 13, 2026 meeting minutes with several corrections, including edits to identified uses, spelling and references to specific speakers. The motion to approve the minutes as amended (Connolly; Kelly second) passed 6-0.
In other business Chair Scott Bartlett nominated Randy Hilman to serve as a Planning Board alternate for a three-year term; the board approved the nomination 6-0. Mr. Hilman introduced himself earlier in the evening as a licensed New Hampshire realtor, former Sandwich selectman and Planning Board representative, and recipient of a Knight-Wallace Fellowship where he studied architecture, land use and urban planning. After the vote Mr. Hilman was advised to contact the Land Use Office to schedule his oath of office with the Town Clerk and to begin reviewing site-plan and subdivision regulations and the board's Rules of Procedure.
The board also nominated Scott Bartlett to serve as an alternate to Sandra Kelly as the Planning Board representative to the Capital Improvements Program Committee (CIPC). That motion (Connolly; Kelly second) passed 6-0.
All three administrative motions passed unanimously.
