Commissioners and the applicant discussed practical logistics including overflow parking, the need for a short buffer after music ends to allow patrons to clear the outdoor area, and whether fencing should be required or left to police and fire discretion. One commissioner proposed allowing music to stop at 11:00 p.m. with an additional 30-minute clearing period; the motion included amending condition 3 to permit a clearing buffer until 11:30 p.m.
The commission moved to approve the recommendation subject to the amended condition (music ends at 11:00 p.m.; patrons cleared by 11:30 p.m.) and to require police, fire and clerk approvals prior to the event. The motion passed on a voice vote.
