Hainesport board approves NutriServe food-service contract, bid awards and grant application

In finance resolutions the board authorized submission of an application for the NJSIG Safety Grant (Resolution 2024-25 #28) and approved transferring 2024–25 surplus to reserves (Resolution 2024-25 #29). The board also recorded bid results and awarded contracts for student transportation to/from school (24-25-BID1), student-activity transportation (24-25-BID2), and night custodian cleaning services (24-25-BID3) under Resolutions 2024-25 #31–#33.
Business Administrator Christopher C. DeSanto certified monthly financial reports and noted no budgetary line item had been over-expended as of January 31, 2025, per N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10. The minutes also ratified facility use requests, including the Hainesport Township Mayor’s Wellness/Community Day, and recorded a lockdown drill conducted May 13, 2025.
Implementation: procurement and contract awards will proceed per bid documents; the food-service contract includes renewal options and budgeted amounts noted in the minutes.
