Rolfe schedules May 28 hearing on FY25 budget amendment; approves March report, bills, and several finance items

The Rolfe City Council on May 12 set a public hearing for 5:00 p.m. on May 28, 2025, at the Rolfe community center to consider a FY25 budget amendment. The motion to set the hearing was made by Dan Allen and seconded by Aaron Cox; the roll-call in the minutes lists Pratt, Cox, Allen, Jackson and Minkler as voting ayes.
Treasurer Sindergard presented the March treasurer's report, which the council approved by motion of Dan Allen and Rob Jackson. The meeting minutes and attached documents list payroll and a set of city bills; the minutes record net payroll on May 2, 2025 as $6,367.83 and include a detailed bills list in the meeting packet.
Council approved a number of routine financial and administrative items: acceptance of the 2024 Water Quality Report (no violations reported); an increase in the city credit-card spending limit from $2,000 to $7,500; and authorization to take the older Dodge pickup to the Sale Barn's next sale. Motions on these items were recorded as Allen/Cox, all ayes.
The minutes do not specify line-item budget allocations for all approved items; the public hearing on May 28 is the next official step for the FY25 budget amendment.
