Hamilton Green Team to post maintenance schedule, pursues pollinator and rain‑garden work

Claudia Shaughnessy summarized site work: she reported cleanup and weeding at several locations, noted the Library Rain Garden needs attention, said the Alexander School rain garden remains in good condition, and that Wing Haven will require an additional cleanup. She said she will develop a maintenance schedule to post on the Environmental Commission website to make the schedule public and attract volunteers.
Other items under the Green Team report included community volunteer coordination and a note that George Dye assisted at an earlier site cleanup. The team also discussed rain‑barrel availability and plans to source additional barrels, and flagged a community cleanup scheduled for April 11, 2026; members were asked to submit cleanup locations by March 1.
