Two residents raised concerns during the Oct. 28 public-comment period about inconsistent access to recess equipment and unclear communication regarding the Gifted & Talented program.
"There is inconsistency with bringing it outside so the students can use it to play," said Mr. Jodeskis, identifying himself as a resident, describing equipment used during recess. He added that he had not heard updates on the Gifted & Talented program.
Mrs. Pucci echoed the concern, telling the board she also had not seen consistent implementation of the program or recess routines. Superintendent Dr. Sue DeNobile thanked Mr. Jodeskis and said she would look into the issues raised and follow up with the resident.
The board did not take formal action on either issue at the meeting; Dr. DeNobile indicated staff would review and respond.
