Woodland Township approves $823,541.75 in bills, introduces two ordinances and adopts consent resolutions

WOODLAND TOWNSHIP — The Woodland Township Committee on Jan. 28 approved bills and claims totaling $823,541.75, introduced two ordinances for first reading and adopted a consent agenda that included final payment on a tanker fire truck and a transfer of 2025 appropriation reserves.

The payment package approved by the committee totaled $823,541.75, with the following account-level breakdown: Current Fund $419,077.21; Payroll $13,223.54; Escrow $705.00; Capital $390,536.00; Unemployment $0; Mining Operations $0. The motion to approve bills and claims was made by Committeeman Mark Herndon and seconded by Committeewoman Donna Mull; the vote was DeGroff—yes, Herndon—yes, Mull—yes.

The committee introduced Ordinance 2026-1, amending several prior ordinances that establish conditions of employment and benefits for township employees, and Ordinance 2026-2, amending the township's new construction and inspection fee schedule.
