Stetsonville board adopts motor-vehicle ordinance, approves loan agreement and several administrative measures

The Village of Stetsonville Board of Trustees approved several ordinances and administrative items at its Feb. 9, 2026 meeting.
Trustees unanimously adopted an Abandoned/NonRegistered Motor Vehicle Ordinance (moved by Trustee Will McCarron; seconded by Trustee Stephanie Bohn). The board also approved a Schedule of Fees to support an Authorization for Use of Citation Ordinance (moved by Trustee Stephanie Bohn; seconded by Trustee Tyler Lemke).
In other business, the trustees approved a Loan Agreement between the Village of Stetsonville and the City of Medford as presented by Slaby Deda Law Offices (moved by Trustee Tyler Lemke; seconded by Trustee Will McCarron). The minutes record the motions as carried with all ayes; the meeting attendance list shows four voting trustees present (Greg Brunner, Will McCarron, Tyler Lemke and Stephanie Bohn) with Trustee Al Riemer excused.
Administrative approvals included accepting the Clerk/Treasurer’s financial and utility reports and voting to remove retired employee Jan Tischendorf from all village accounts. DPW reports on water and wastewater operations were accepted; trustees approved a plan to demolish the upper wastewater-treatment building and retain the lower building pending spring work. Trustees also approved the street and maintenance report and authorized payment of vouchers 1970–2001 and the listed EFTs.
The board entered a closed session for a personnel discussion and later adjourned the closed session and the regular meeting. A special board meeting was scheduled for Feb. 16, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Jean M. Thomsen Memorial Library to consider a TIF loan renewal; the next regular meeting is March 9, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the same location.
