Hammonton board approves routine finance, personnel and program items

The board voted to approve finance items 1 through 32. The chair noted a correction to item 21, which should read $32,742.60 before the roll call. The motion was moved and seconded and the board recorded votes by roll call; the chair announced, “Motion carried.”
The board then approved personnel items 33 through 50. On the roll call, one member abstained on item 40; the board carried the motion for the full group with that abstention noted.
Program, students and miscellaneous items 51 through 59 were approved by roll call vote and carried. An addendum finance item (number 60) was moved, seconded and approved on roll call as well.
Motions were moved and seconded as recorded in the meeting (finance items carried after a motion moved by Shimono and seconded by Bernardo per the agenda discussion). The board took no policy‑changing action during these bundled votes; the approvals advanced routine district operations and personnel onboarding.
