Superintendent Ramsey told the Hammonton Board of Education that the district will partner with the New Jersey School Boards Association to develop a five‑year strategic plan.
“The strategic plan will act as a roadmap for the district over the next five years,” Ramsey said, saying the work will include goals and objectives developed with parents, community members, teachers, supervisors and administrators. He said meeting dates and times will be posted on the district website, social media and in local papers and encouraged broad public participation.
Ramsey framed the effort as community-driven and said the board’s strategic-planning committee will hold round‑table discussions and small-group sessions to gather public input. He asked community members to look out for the posted planning dates and noted the board will be inviting participants to be involved in shaping district priorities.
Superintendent Ramsey also reminded the board that the district will begin budget work as the state announces state‑aid numbers over the next several weeks and that safety and security planning — including an AI acceptable‑use policy under review — remains an active committee priority.
