Trinity Group withdraws rezoning and parking-lot applications for Hwy 70 parcel
Summary
The Trinity Group withdrew two related applications for parcel 095 005.02 — a rezoning request from R-4 to C-1 on the river side of Hwy 70 and a proposal to convert existing C-1 land to a parking lot — saying it will refile once it submits the owner information, written permission, legal description and a complete site plan showing required parking and handicap spaces.

Planner Jessica Hill told the Pegram Planning Commission on Sept. 9 that the Trinity Group had filed two related applications for parcel map 095 005.02: to rezone the river side of Hwy 70 from R-4 to C-1 and to use existing C-1 land for a parking lot. Hill said split zoning issues require the applicant to submit the owner’s name and address, written permission and a written legal description; the parking-lot proposal requires a site plan demonstrating the required number of parking spaces and the required number of handicap spaces.
During the "Reports" portion of the meeting resident Susie Coleman of 4502 Scenic View Drive read a letter posted on social media expressing concerns about Trinity’s plan near the Tanglewood entrance. The planner recorded that the Trinity Group withdrew both applications at the meeting and intends to refile separately for the rezoning and for the parking-lot permit once they provide the missing paperwork.
The minutes list the parcel as map and parcel 095 005.02 and record no formal vote on the matter because the applications were withdrawn prior to any commission action.
