The Village of Stetsonville on July 21 approved routine operational reports and payments and heard several administrative updates. Trustees moved to accept the municipal wastewater/water reports and street/maintenance reports and approved payment of vouchers 1666–1719 and EFTs 07-01 through 07-25; recorded motions carried on 'all ayes.'
Clerk/Treasurer Jan Tischendorf presented attached financial statements, bank balances, utility reports and the garbage/recycling report; she noted the garbage program is currently breaking even and suggested a possible future increase in bag and barrel prices if revenues do not keep pace with expenses. The clerk also reported she is preparing a clerk manual to guide a clerk/treasurer replacement.
Northwest Regional Planning staff provided information on housing rehabilitation grants; the board instructed the clerk to forward grant information to a resident undertaking storm-damage renovation, and members noted unused state funds may be returned to Taylor County if not spent.
