The Salem Township Planning Commission voted Sept. 4 to advertise a special meeting in the first two weeks of October to discuss proposed amendments to the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO). The commission approved placing the advertisement 7–10 days before the special meeting and agreed that revised SALDO materials will be available at the time the ad is posted.
Paul Holleran moved and Connie Mattei seconded the motion to advertise the meeting; both voted in favor and the motion passed unanimously. Resident John Write asked whether the commission would distribute the revised SALDO materials to the public for review prior to the meeting; Secretary Kelly Otto said the revision will be available when the advertisement runs.
The commission set the next regular meeting for Oct. 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. if an agenda is posted.
