School board questions $31,000 water-testing transfer and two payments to youth mentor

The administrator said the expense covers lead testing and required reporting.
Members also asked about Comcast billing and a new contract: staff said there are two separate bills (one connecting buildings and one for internet usage) and that the new contract increased bandwidth while lowering the combined cost.
Votes and abstentions: before the bill-list vote one board member announced abstentions on check numbers 136468 and 136539, and another announced abstention on check number 136593; the roll call proceeded after those declarations.
Next steps: administrators said they would follow up with details on the questioned checks and provide the requested documentation to the board.
