Rezoning request for riverside of Highway 70 withdrawn; Trinity Group will refile
Summary
A rezoning application to change the riverside of Highway 70 from R-4 to C-1 (parcel 095 005.02) and an associated parking-lot plan were withdrawn by the applicant, the Trinity Group; the planner said required submissions include owner contact information, written permission, legal description and a parking plan showing required and handicap spaces.

On Sept. 9 the Pegram Planning Commission recorded the withdrawal of a rezoning application for the riverside of Highway 70 (parcel 095 005.02) and a related parking-lot plan.
Planner Jessica Hill told the commission that the rezoning and the parking-lot applications must be processed separately and that the rezoning packet must include the owner's name and address, written permission and a legal description of the property. For the parking-lot application the planner said the town needs a site plan and documentation that the plan provides the required number of parking spaces and required handicap spaces. Public commenter Susie Coleman of 4502 Scenic View Drive had voiced concern about a lack of information for agenda item 8.2.
The Trinity Group withdrew both the rezoning and parking-lot requests at the meeting and said it will refile the applications separately when it has the required paperwork. No vote was taken on the rezoning or parking-lot proposals because the applications were withdrawn.
