Board members reviewed NEFEC membership materials and discussed the program areas the membership supports but noted they could not open a second attachment that contained additional detail.
The Chair asked members to look at section 1 of the membership materials, which, she said, lists many areas NEFEC supports through grants, including instructional services, resource software, risk management, building-code administration and a human-resources network. A member noted NEFEC had partnered with the district on training initiatives such as an assistant principals academy.
Several members said they could open the primary membership PDF but could not access the second attachment; staff said they would supply printed copies so members could review. A member observed that the first document appears to be a resolution; staff confirmed the NEFEC item is presented as a resolution for board consideration. The board agreed to review the materials and to raise any questions in advance of the Thursday agenda.
Because the full packet could not be accessed by all members during the meeting, the board did not take formal action on the membership item that night.
