The Town of Pegram Board of Mayor and Aldermen on July 29 approved a new legal services agreement and renewed a park field use contract for the Game Changers Softball program.
Alderman Michael Paszek moved to approve the updated legal services agreement, which raises the town attorney’s hourly rate from $200 to $240; Vice Mayor Bob Sanders seconded and the motion passed with all members present voting yes (Randy Howington absent).
The board also approved a one‑year agreement for Game Changers Softball to use field No. 3 on Sundays and Wednesdays. The town attorney adjusted the contract’s insurance requirement to $1,000,000. Alderman Bo Sanders moved to accept the agreement with those attorney changes and authorize the mayor to sign; Alderman Paszek seconded and the measure carried on a unanimous vote of members present.
Both items were presented and approved without further public debate. The mayor was authorized to sign the contracts on the town’s behalf.
