At the July 6 meeting, Washington County Commissioners Court approved several procedural items following the financing presentation.
The court approved the Washington County Expo rental regulations and authorized the county judge to sign the contract for the annual pig sift. The motion to approve was made and seconded and carried by voice vote with no opposition.
The court also moved, seconded and carried a motion to appoint the tax assessor-collector and the chief appraiser to calculate the county’s no-new-revenue tax rate and the voter-approval tax rate pursuant to Tax Code 26.04(c). That motion carried by voice vote with no opposition.
The court addressed accounts payable and then voted to adjourn.
