He said the city is considering a potential water main project north of the river and that the separate water service line project will continue this spring with an expected completion by late summer.
Schneider also reported the city closed on the Muskegon River Holding (MRH) property. He said the city has had initial discussions with a potential developer about the first phase of that site but emphasized that nothing has been finalized.
The commission received the updates as informational items; no formal action on the projects or the MRH property was recorded in the minutes. Administrative follow‑up will determine timelines and any formal application or approval steps required for the development and infrastructure work.
