Amy Dalman, the city’s code enforcement officer, introduced Rachelle Nausadis, who recently purchased the building and has leased the retail portion for years. Dalman told the commission the building already contains apartments on the upper floor; Nausadis informed the commission that the two converted units will be used as long‑term rentals rather than short‑term housing.
The commission discussed parking and the condition that tenants obtain permits if they park off‑site. The conversion expands housing options in the downtown block while keeping the applicant subject to the city’s parking requirements.
The commission completed its agenda and adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
