Dr. McGee reported the probation department hired Bernadette McGarvey of Leaf River, Illinois, as a supervisor; McGarvey will begin work on Aug. 10. Dr. McGee also acknowledged a staff member’s 25-year service anniversary effective July 2, 2026. The state's attorney reported office staffing and case-closure figures were roughly even and introduced Tom Madigan as the first assistant state's attorney present at the meeting.
Motions to approve the agenda, minutes from June 10, and the claims were made, seconded and approved by voice votes. The meeting recorded no public comment.
