The Rockland Water & Sewer Utility board convened at 9:25 p.m. on April 8 under President Jon Hohlfeld. The board approved the March minutes and treasurer’s report and authorized payment of ACHs and checks #5563–#5576 totaling $38,453.89.
The board recorded that 10-day notices were sent on April 10 to customers delinquent on their water and sewer bills; the scheduled shutoff date in those notices is April 21. Board members also noted that letters had been sent to residents who are not in compliance with the federal service line inventory requirement.
The board recorded that repairs to Well No. 1 pumphouse will begin. In a separate motion Trustee Linda Young moved and Trustee Bob Nielsen seconded to forgive the water property tax equivalent; the motion carried. The utility meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
