Rockdale sewer project reported underway; trustee to seek loan options

At the Jan. 19, 2026 meeting the Village of Rockdale received a Sewer Commission update reporting that the contract with the Village of Cambridge is underway and that the project is expected to finish in May. The minutes record that Trustee Sarah Halvorson will meet with Badger Bank to discuss loan options related to the project.
The minutes also note that Trustee Halvorson has submitted a Cambridge Foundation grant request for the pumping station. The General Engineering December report, included on correspondence, noted there were no permits issued in December. A police report recorded one ticket issued during the reporting period.
