Marthasville aldermen approve monthly bills with $3,300 hold and OK HVAC unit for Rusche Park

Mayor David Lange, Alderman Meyer, Alderman DeVore and Alderman Dixon were recorded as present for the 3-0 vote; Alderman Lange was absent.
On separate action under new business, Alderman Meyer moved to approve purchase of an R‑454B unit for the main floor system at Rusche Park at a cost of $5,350, with installation to occur after Jan. 1; Alderman Dixon seconded and the motion passed 3-0.
Earlier procedural votes to approve the meeting agenda and the Sept. 18, 2024 minutes were also made and passed by unanimous vote of aldermen present.
The board’s withholding of $3,300 to Lamke was described as temporary pending a discussion between Mayor Lange and David Griffin; the minutes record no further detail about the charge or the vendor. The approved HVAC unit is for Rusche Park’s main floor and the minutes specify installation after the start of the new year.
